For Adobe After Effects
autoParallax turns flat 2D layers into camera-ready 3D parallax setups — position and scale are compensated automatically, so your composition looks exactly the same until the camera moves. 1,000+ copies sold on Gumroad and BOOTH.

Everything lives in expressions on position and scale. Hit Delete to restore your layers to plain 2D, exactly as they were.
autoParallax 2 is a single script file. Install it from File → Scripts → Install ScriptUI Panel, then open it from the Window menu. Nothing else to configure.
Add a camera to your comp — the wider it is, the greater the parallax. Tip: set the focal length in pixels to make z-distances easier to control.
Pick any footage, shape, or text layers and press the button. Their apparent size no longer changes when they move in Z.
Push layers to depth — a number, or an expression like random(2000) or index*100. On screen, nothing shifts until the camera moves.
